Award Chosen for Highest Placing Sable Doe

The ISBA Board has chosen to award an engraved clock to the highest placing Sable in the National Show. As we were not able to obtain permission to make a formal award, the award will be made privately.

The Education committee is working on an information sheet to be shared with the Florida Dairy Goat Association. This will be given to all new members and hopefully encourage more Sable Breeders!

Tara Stevenson is doing a good job on the Awards Committee and has requested information from Linda Campbell on making mediallions to give as awards to Sable breeders. Great idea!

Information needed: If you have show results for Sables, buck sales, doe sales, newcomers, new kids, whatever, please let me know so I can put the information in the newsletter. Anita

There are no committee reports this quarter.

We need more volunteers who are willing to hand out information sheets on Sables at shows etc. If you are willing to do this, please contact Anita or Nancy. When the sheet is ready it can be sent as an attachment that you can print off and hand out.

ALL AMERICAN PROGRAM

Don't forget the ISBA All Ameican Sable program that is going on. Entries MUST be postmarked no later than

Midnight, August 15, 2001 .

for further information

Raffle

It is time to discuss what we are going to do for the raffle for the Convention. As I do not know who is going to be there, or if they will be able to handle it, I would like to suggest that we do either an online and newsletter raffle, showing the items, and then do our own drawing and send the items out, without having a Convention Table. Let me know what you think. Anita
